NoseRub Re-Design: Preview

Poolie just published a nice preview of the upcoming design changes for NoseRub. Beside the beautiful design, the underlying theme system will be the biggest change.
There is no detailed roadmap for that release, but it pretty much will be the 0.9 version and it is very likely we will have at least one 0.8.x version with bugfixes and minor enhancements online.

Looks fantastic! I am also looking forward to exploring how this might be integrated with WordPress MU as an “open” alternative to BuddyPress.
I think that listing of “Profile, Groups, and Networks” on the right is a real eye-opener. Why shouldn’t many different sites be able to use the same profile?

hey guys - been looking for something of this nature and before I could download NoseRub 8.2 I saw that version 9.x is coming up soon. So I think I will hold a while. Otherwise, I feel that once 9.x is out the noserub project will take a huge dimension. Cant imagine how many people would be waiting for version 9.x out there. all the best buddies!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Wow! Tomorrow it will be a year since this announcement!
Why is v0.9 taking so long? It would be great to know if this project is still active or if it has been shelved permanently.
